i doubt there will be a winner by 2-1 in normal time, the teams are hardly scoring due to the weather , if someone wins in normal time might be by 1-0 , but hey ho thats just my prediction , im going for :

i can't see france breaking down germany as bas as they are in defence themselves france are just even more fragile.... its going to be a good game but germany have far too much.

Germany have 7 players showing flu like symptoms....I reckon France will win!

Germany v France
France's defence will be vulnerable against the German attacks. An issue I see for Germany is Mertesacker who might struggle with the pace of Benzema. Should be even enough though and strength in depth should do it for Germany, their bench is much the stronger of the two.

Brazil v Colombia
Brazil have been poor so far, but showed they can still create good chances and were unlucky not to win in 90 minutes against Chile. Colombia are the overrated team of the tournament imo and yet to face a strong opposition. IF they can keep Rodriguez quiet, Brazil will win.

Argentina v Belgium
Both sides have been quite poor so far and not met expectations. If Belgium play the high pressure game they did against USA, they can get at the Argentinian defence but they will likely play a cagey style and allow Messi to take them apart. If they do this, Argentina will win by a few goals

Netherlands v Costa Rica
Netherlands success is usually dependent on the front three playing well, but here they can afford not to hit their peak. Costa Rica beat Suarez-less Uruguay and Italy's poor tactics but failed to beat England (one of the worst teams in the competition) and Greece (arguably the worst team to make the last 16). Netherlands should win. ComfortablyJust found out Mertesacker's not starting
