Which do you think is better and why?

xbox controller is better cos analog is the main focus of it and nicely curved to your thumb

i currently have an xbox 360 but for my birthday (1st August) i am getting a slimline PS3 so i need good online names please people

The xbox controller is shockingly over-complicated when compared to the ps3 controller. When I was deciding which to buy the main reason I chose the ps3 is that I couldn't get used to the xbox controller.

xbox - more games to choose from but i find xbox pad easier to get use to because i know the controls as with PS3 it would take some time, bad news is you have to pay for live each year.

PS3 - live is free, less buttons on pad which means easier to get use to, bad news is less variety of games to choose from.

I would buy PS3 for Metal Gear Solid 4 and Modern Warfare 2 and of course free live

Xbox - Slow, old, noisy, big, good controller, more/better games, good graphics

PS3 - New(ish), smaller, Blu-ray, quieter, better looking, good graphics, less good games

I have an Xbox and I know it is not great and it is too noisy and it jams sometimes (rarely) but I am used to it and it has a great controller compared to PS3

When I first got my Xbox I thought the controller was too big but i now realise it fits your hand better than a Playstation one

I have played a PS3 once or twice and it seems fairly good but i wouldn't buy one now... I would rather wait for the new Xbox 720
