For this season for the first time, there will be a clan captains league, for all captains and vice captains of the teams entered into the main league.

Instead of going into it all again, I'll just quote my self from the clan league discussion thread.

Right, the clan captains league. I need to discuss the terms if I am going to do this, I was thinking something like this.

You play as a team (clearly 2 per team) and it runs along the main league.

For example, if FSE face D&C in league, then the clan captains league games will have the FSE captains against the D&C captains.

damee v whocares8x8
jay_afc v dgeneratio
damee v dgeneratio
jay_afc v whocares8x8

And say the results went like this...

damee 2-3 whocares8x8
jay_afc 1-4 dgeneratio
damee 4-1 dgeneratio
jay_afc 5-0 whocares8x8 (Seb clearly was blindfolded, but still...)

The table would look like this.

FSE - 12 points
D&C - 8 points

Bonus 2 points maybe for all 4 games completed per team?

1 frame of each game type here if you haven't already worked that out.

Any issues with this format or any idea to improve it etc etc are more than welcome!

damee i knw it says captains and vice etc..

but cud sum1 choose the most reliable player instead of a vice?

wouldn't that defeat the point. If you can't rely on your vice to be reliable then its a sad state of afairs.

My only question would be... what about the situations where clans have multiple captains, 5 vice's, a co-captain and a transvestite?

Lol at the transvestite! I like that whoever decided that was that anyway

If a team has a captain, a co-captain and a vice, I would say the captain and co, but I think I might just say you choose the other one (as the captain is the main one). And no subbing in.

And yes, if your vice ain't one of the most reliable, then there isn't much point in this.

Infact, that gives me an idea for discussion in general for clan league.

Just got to see what other clans say on this thread as well regarding this.

just u get the likes of sean for example hes vice or co capt and he keeps deactivating

Yes, we only write down the captain and one vice for the clan league.

Well, I will use them 2 then for the clan captains league.

That solves that problem.

Well if he deactivates when the season starts and goes onto a new account, he can't enter for a month anyway.

my concern is its making it a hell of alot of matches overall.

would we get the option to opt out of this side league

are you saying that points won in this league go towards the overall standings of your clan,

i am still worried about the amount of games we will need to play but hope it works if it is 100% going ahead

Don't enter yourself or your Vice captain into the league or cup games if you dont think your get all your games played

This is why I have done this just for the captains and vice. Because if captains and vice can't get games done, then what sort of hope does the rest of the clan have

I can't see too much of an issue getting these games done to be honest, I see a lot of you in-game anyway.

If you want, I could think about reducing the frames to just 3 of the game types (arc, reg and orig) for this season to see how it works. 3 frames won't take too long to do anyway, it's power which seems to eat up the time.

Well once the deadline closes for entrants into the main league, I will hopefully have full details for it then, unless a discussion about certain aspects pops up.
