Exactly! It's a shortcut link instead of people posting on threads and creating threads about wanting to join a clan, when the link is already there showing. It advertises that a bit more too.

So every time I post the current clan fixtures on threads, it sends a message to all the players with member tags?

Yes it does Seb, i got loads on pool when FBL fxtures were posted, then dgen put them into SS thread haha.

i don't think it sends an offline message does it? for me offline message rather than an email would be perfect.

On a serious note, how about including in this a message for "your post has been removed by a forum moderator", so people will see what they can/can't say on the forums. If there is a big argument, pages can fly past quickly so people may not notice their posts have been removed.

I doubt it. Most of they type of emails are one way only, i.e. Outbound.

The address is unmonitored so it'll be ignored.
