And although I aint keen on him, well done on Rossberg for running 52 laps on a single set of tyres and claiming second to what looked like a lost afternoon.

Heart wrenching news, Jules has suffered from a head injury called Diffuse Axonal Injury (DAI), and 90% of people with this injury never regain consciousness.

Hopefully, Jules will pull through, and the whole worlds thoughts and prayers are with him.

Doctors have described Jules bianchi as a miracle stating that people ordinarily wouldn't survive such an accident..

Philippe bianchi has described the situation as *desperate*
Knowing any call from the hospital could be that Jules hasn't survived.

Sad day all round. F1 drivers at the Russian gp formed a circle at the front of the grid in solidarity for bianchi.

Yeah, it's a massive miracle he is still alive, but he's a battler, it's a horrible incident, and will definitely cast a dark shadow over the title win next month.

Only 10% of diffuse axonal injuries come out of a coma.

Please keep fighting Bianchi.

Unbelievable! Jules Bianchi is out of his coma, according to his parents, and is now recovering at his home country, France. Congratulations, Jules! Keep fighting!

Lets be honest no one is beating the Mercedes so Rosberg needs Hamilton's car to fail or Hamilton will get 2nd if not win it and win the title.

Or Rosberg could just DNF and then wild celebrations commence!

Especially now Vettel and Ricciardo have been put to the back of the field due to dodgy front wings.

Yeah, quite a bit less pressure on the front-runners. I doubt Red Bull will worry too much about starting from the back, or the ruling on their front wing.... and I bet they'll still pull in a good result too

Lewis Hamilton is 2014 f1 world champion.

Superbly driven race.. sadly nico rosberg suffered continuous issues and was told to retire the car but credit to him he wanted to complete the race

Yet another stunning performance by Lewis in Melbourne ... helps when you have a superior car too

Shame that with only 11 cars finishing and points to only 10th place..... Jenson's car just wasn't up to the job and he came 11th .. However, good to see the car handled the duration of the race

Onto the next...

Nice to see that Ferrari have a strong package this season, were on course for 3rd and 5th before a pit stop error for Raikkonen

Hope to see fernando back soon, and hopefully in a race winning car eventually
