I wasnt really a fan of rallying, but everybody knew his name, and too find out he is dead is bad news. And his 5 year old son also could die, thoughts obviously with his family

Yup i dont really follow the sport either but i had a game for the ps2 of his so its a real shock to the system just hope his son will be ok and that the family can move on!

im shocked. similar to steve irwins death, doing something similar to their profession, im jus mystified that such a legend of the sport had to die so young, along with his poor 5 yr old son, who had hes whole life to look forward 2, may they rest in piece

Rest in peace indeed. I follow the rallying when i can simply because of the McRae name.

Wat a great shame. Thoughts lie with their families.

Didn't really follow Rally, but he was the only driver in the sport who I knew the name of...Had one of his games as well...Very sad news...
