Yes and proves the point to Rafa that Torres needs to be first striker on team sheet for every match.

Someone texting the BBC said:
"Am sorry to say but this evening reflects how little the Carling Cup means to teams. OK, Torres scored a hat-trick last night but he should have played Saturday. As for my team, Man U, I expected this."

Have been reading updates for the Carling Cup on BBC and they show some texts...This from a Man U fan, it couldn't be because of the scoreline could it? Whereas if it was the other way round they would be shouting from the rooftops that it's their year to win the Carling Cup!

Even when we win the carling cup, I don't think, Well atleast we won a cup because to be honest, It is a pathetic cup to win and as a big club like united we have higher expectations I.E. the Premiership, FA cup and the Uefa champions league.

I think that the starting 11 refletcs on what we think of the cup, If it was a cp we wanted to win we wouldn't play all the reserves would we? (except nani and anderson who isn't match fit), So the way i see it is, We don't say what we say because we lose as it is like the LDV vans trophy to teams like Man utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Also, I think that unfortunately, Liverpool will win this
