I couldnt get the ethernet cable as i am on the 3rd floor of our house and the router is on the bottom but if i was close enough i would have deffinatley got the cable. £60 is ridiculous.

Yeah, if you're not close enough your just unlucky, £60 is too much considering it is £40 for the xbox live subscription per year and the Xbox 360 is about £160.
