\Microsoft have launched the search engine 'bing' as a big competitor to the worlds favourite search engine.

Its television advert for Bing, suggested that its new search engine means that search overload is 'officially over'.

I dont know how it will hit off but i just did a search for funkysnooker on it and on google.

bing - 11,500,000 results
google - 13,400 results

It's already my default search engine lol.

Google will always be the market leader

i know but, you know what microsoft are like. They want everything.

Their Live Search was rubbish IMO, bing.com is live search but with a pretty background and features that google has had for years.

"I googled it" sounds much better than "i binged it"

yeahh lol, fact is Google will have the brand loyalty now, people google things out of habbit, it it second nature to do so, you would have to think about it to "Bing" something.

That background is stupid anyways lol of the clear sky - I mean whats that got to do with anything!?, the best thing about Google is its simplicity, all it is, is a simple logo (which changes every so often to comemorate special days) on a white background.

Much of Microsofts stuff lately has been poor, except the Xbox 360 of course
