You probably can't get it by throwing your dongle

In fact I would not advise throwing the dongle at all

You probably could do it through a dongle. It would be a poor connection, though. Also, Mobile Broadband dongle's tend to have a low limit compared to Home Broadband (usually around the 3GB mark). Taking into account that streaming a half hour TV programme can take about this much data, running Xbox Live through a Dongle could see your bill rise into the thousands. Better to stick to Wireless Internet, or just buy an Ethernet Cable to run from the Xbox to the router.
