44 odd fights unbeaten, Won world titles at two divisions. One of best supported athletes about.
He lost to the two best boxers of the last 20 odd year no shame really. Never dodged anyone. (other than junior witter lol)

Like he said, he was to convinced he was going to beat Mayweather, and when he lost.. he just could not find the fire to fight again

Yeah he was a great boxer but just couldn't handle it against the best, pacquiao made him look like an amatuer, he retired 2 years ago really but never announced it official until now.

He was speaking on sky sports news the other day, he looks like hes been stuffing his face with loads of pies lol.

Average boxer at the best of times, he's the tennis equivalent of Tim Henman the best English boxer, because there was no one else close to him, the word? never.

Terrible role model too.

the thing is virtuoso107 .. he was a great boxer there were other world champions .. junior witter was a world champ .. david haye was a world champ ok definately at different weights .. there have been world champs all the way through so you cant really say that he was an equivalent to tim henman i think that is being extremely harsh

He lost 2 fights in his career, and never hid away from the big boys, to end you career only being beaten by Mayweather and Manny Pacquaio is no disgrace.

One of Englands greatest fighters, and certainly the most entertaining in my lifetime.

Hope he finds a way to deal with retirement now, hopefully through becoming a promoter.

There's only one Ricky Hatton.
