The draw for the 2014 World Cup Qualifiers takes place at 7pm tonight, with the European section being drawn at about 8.23pm, after all the other continents.

The pot containing the lowest seeds will be drawn first. With the top seeds being drawn last.

There will be 8 groups of 6 teams, and 1 group of 5 teams. The nine group winners qualify automatically, with the best eight runners-up playing off home and away for Europe's final four slots.

Russia and Georgia can not be drawn into the same group, due to their political frictions.

I'm quite happy with Scotland's group. Could have been a whole lot worse. Glad we missed the likes of Spain, France, Sweden and Iceland

Italy's group is a bit hard, but cannot see the Italians losing.

Knowing us, we will leave it to the very last game and have to win to qaulify! Was so relieved when we came out instead of Spain though!

Bottom Line, I don't think Scotland will be in the next WC unless they kick it up a gear lol

South Africa have Drawn Botswana and Central African Republic and either Somalia or Ethiopia. Should be an easy qualification if we can keep the form we're in.
