i am trying to set up a pre-run of the world championship snooker to see if people are willing to enter, this is the thread http://www.funkysnooker.com/viewTopic.do?topicid=1945

the rules will be as followed:

there is going to be a maximum of 64 players, you have a day to play your games, if one opponent logs in and the other doesn't the player that was online will be gifted a bye to the next round.

it will be a six day tournament
here is the lay out of the schedueled fixtures:

day one will be the first knock out round
day two will be the second knock out round
day three will be the third knock out round
day four will be the quarter finals
day five will be the semi-finals
day six will be the final.

knock out rounds are best of five, the quarters is a best of 7, semis 9 and the final will be best of 13, im hoping to get it all up and running by the 14th of june, if it is not full by then i will let it stay open for a further week if it still not full then i will

cancel the championship, if you wish i will make a site, or we can leave the results here, this one will be on arcade snooker and i will do another on orignal snooker when this is inished, hopefuly by doing this it will determin which version to use when it comes down to the proper one run by the moderators!, so ust leave your name and your rank here so i can sort them into groups and hopefuly make it a little fairer by putting the inters, adepts, pros and virts into different leagues, but if you prefer i will just make them random.

your a pro, ok, i need to no if you lot want it to be in groups of virts pros ect. or just random, well not groups but like virts play virts and pros adepts play inters and low pros?... i need to no what suits everyone best

hopefully this will run smooth as they are mostly virts and are on regular, there may be a few people who sign up and dont play they'll just get kicked out after the day is up
