BUT...

I was going into myself and thought about how to solve the problem with allypunk's times.

As it was already very annoying to wait 2 weeks for the match between ally and kili whilst all the others were already finished I now got info that ally isnt available at the weekend and is only able to play before 7 pm during week.

These times cant be done by sarah so I think this match will also need extra time to get it done (I admit I am not very pleased to do defaults if necessary).

This brought me to the conclusion that following rounds will probably be the same hassle as I know that most of us are evening players.

I am very sorry to tell you, allypunk, that I dont wanna go through this once more so you are herewith out of this event and sarah goes through to quarterfinals.

With that decision I now cancelled all results out of allypunk's games but in the end its the same four making the cut for the knockout rounds although order is like that now:

1. kilimanjaro 7 pts +8 FD
2. destroyer_v2 7 pts +4 FD
3. sarahh 6 pts +4 FD
4. jimi_clapton 5 pts +2 FD

So we finally get into crunch time - QUARTERFINALS-

My game with Kilimanjaro was late as he doesn't come on till late in the evening and I have commitments which meant I couldn't play late

I offered a window of 5 hours per day to get this game done its not my fault she can't get on until 8 pm

Would take 30mins max to play the game

Started poorly but got better as match went on, we each stole first two frames so thats even, could have lost both. Kili woke up and then went into a 2-1 lead, i countered with an 88, then Kili made a 62 and tried for 3 snooks but failed, Last was best of the lot, 5 min safety, playing behind black, i overhit (mouse problem) and he clears with a 104.

No regrets, lost to the better man, ggs pal and gl for rest

Had the luck to catch dan today after he paused for a few days.

I wasnt really in form aswell but dan was mostly unlucky sinking white on a few good break opportunities.
Highlight of that match was my 96 in the 4th frame (or maybe 3rd? ).
