As I've seen a few old names knocking about still, does anyone fancy booting up a small carom league?

(I got the inclination from reading my old thread, even reading some of what I had said, I came across as an obnoxious fool, glad I've mellowed in my old age )

id be down for it mate, reckon it might be difficult to get the numbers for carom though

A little update, hoping for 6 people to make fixtures nice and even (nobody waiting)

When we have a 6th (hopefully), I have two methods, I'd love to hear your opinions and/or additions.

A. A straight up 6 man league with a side cup.

B. 2 leagues of 3, with there being a promotion/relegation. (there'll also be a trophy)



If you can reply to this or send me a message, whichever suits yourselves.

Maybe with the first suggestion being a 6 person league you could do the top 4 from that advance to a knockout stage.

The league matches could be a best of 3 so that they're not too long complete, then for the semis best of 5 and final best of 9 or something like that.

Just throwing out suggestions, I'm happy to play any format as long as the games aren't too long

Does anybody have anything to add/suggest too, by all means pop it up.

Rules (Slight rule change to above)

-4 Games (All 4 to be played unless you're 3-0 up)
-3 Points for a win
-1 point for a draw
-1 Extra point for a run of 5
-2 Extra points for a run of 10

A run of 10 doesn't net you a 5+ and 10+ bonus (3 points), just an extra 2 points

Seperate cup fixtures to be released shortly.

Don't worry about fixtures, if you see someone online, and you're both free to play, go right ahead.

League rules apply, games must be a friendly unless both parties agree otherwise.

Me and chezz played the first game in the league to get the ball rolling finished 2 - 2 between us

Fair reflection on the score with both of us playing fairly average and couldnt get a nice rhythm going, I got lucky with a 6 run at the end to nick an extra point and make it 2 - 1 for points overall ggs mate
