Just to clarify please, you are starting afresh with a new clan? Once you agree your old threads will remain capped permanently and you won't be able to take part this season.
If you wish to carry on with your clan for the current season, post now and I will uncap your last thread for that clan.

Registered as Black Ops aren't they? So i would assume that it is the same team. The Total Abomination one would be classed as a new clan if they kept that.

Well no, they announced the captain and the vice on the thread. If they stated that they are looking for brand new players then it would be to late as pre season is under way and they technically would have just said all old players are free agents.
