If you are intending this to go long enough to have another doubles event, then I think a second rankings table for doubles. Winners get 250 each, runners up 150 each, semis 50 each or something like that. Should balance out.

hmm yer we could do that.. i intend to keep this running like the world championship one dgen does aslong as people play games..

Then a 2nd ranking board would be good so the guys who wont get near the top in the singles can still get near the top .

what will be the points system?

if team A player 1 wins vs team B player 1 3-2, and team A player 2 loses vs team B player 2 0-5, that should be 3 points for team B and 0 for team A, is that right?

Well this is the question i asked at start of the event.
If it should go on total frames won that would = the points..

or it would go on the pair with the highest frames won against another pair.. eg.. 3 points win 1 point draw..

i found your comment... my opinion is that if it is a team competition it should be either counting the frames won in a given match (in my example above it will be 3-7, so team B wins 3, team 0) or counting the matches won (in the above example it will be draw 1-1). don't know what others think about this :)

yer lets discuss it so if people prefer the other way i can change it now without problem..

I take the no suggestions on this means there happy to have it as frames won equals the overall points..
