Pffft I have a few tricks up my sleeve yet pal, including a business card to a wonderful wonderful place where one may get an extended massage, which I have proof of Mr Henry, and Mr Werner getting much use out of.

Might up my wage demands...

Next year is our year!

No but seriously I'm going to be bricking it all season until we get to 40 points.

This season is going to be painful but until Bren manages to create a side for his vision we are going to struggle.

In the long run I'm quite excited, but for now I just want us to stay up!

Arsenal fans arrested at Anfield for murder

Four Arsenal fans were arrested for murder at Anfield during the team's match against Liverpool on Sunday.

The quartet were held in connection with the death of 33-year-old Stuart Smith, who had been beaten to death in Liverpool city centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Emergency services were called to the incident at Back Colquitt Streete at 2.45am and Smith was rushed to Royal Liverpool University Hospital, but died from his injuries.

The four men - two 39-year-olds, a 37-year-old and a 27-year-old - were arrested in the away supporters' section of Anfield during the second half of Sunday's match, which Arsenal won 2-0. All four men remain in custody.

Police believe that the attack on Londoner Smith may have been caught on a mobile phone video and may even have been posted on YouTube.

Shouldn't laugh but the Echo have made a right gaff. Just look at their sub header below:

Hillsborough report out tomorrow. Going to open up a can of worms I feel.

In the papers already:

Exclusive: Hillsborough - police did doctor evidence in bid to avoid blame.

Evidence of junior officers present at the football disaster was systematically distorted

A detailed picture of how the evidence of junior police officers present at the Hillsborough football disaster was systematically distorted can be revealed today, as an independent panel prepares to deliver the findings of its exhaustive investigation into the afternoon that claimed the lives of 96 fans.

The Independent has obtained four previously unpublished witness statements written by police constables, who were all on duty at the Leppings Lane end on the disastrous day of Liverpool's FA Cup semi-final with Nottingham Forest in 1989. They show how the documents, originally prepared for an internal inquiry, were altered prior to Lord Taylor's official inquiry later that year to ensure that South Yorkshire Police emerged from the tragedy in a significantly more positive light.

The testimony of one constable, 31-year-old Martin McLoughlin, was crossed through so two paragraphs of criticism were entirely deleted.

Pc McLoughlin's testimony that he could hear "the voices of more and more officers ... getting desperate" over the police radio is replaced simply with the words "increased radio traffic". Another of the phrases deleted from his testimony reads: "Basically it was chaos".

One version of the second officer's statement includes the genuine conclusions he reached. "After the incident I felt shocked and upset," he said. "My enduring feelings are anger and guilt. I was less than 20 yards from people struggling for their life and was not aware of their plight. No radio or Tannoy communications were apparent throughout the incident."

A handwritten annotated note attached to the report asked the Pc to "remove the last page, excluding last paragraph". Another note states: "rewritten as requested". In a second version of the report, also included in the file, all the original criticisms are absent.

An attempt to deliver praise to Liverpool fans appears to have been crossed from the testimony of a fourth officer, David Sumner, who says that "many fans assisted in the removal of the dead and injured from the field".

The right people are been investigated nobody ever believed the Liverpool fans did this to their own it was never intentional it was just a long list of unfortunate mistakes which should never of happened.

I'll be at Stoke vs Man City saturday 3pm Kick off where we're going rise and sing YNWA for the 96 lost in total respect for their club and what they died for... I'm a football fan and these people went to watch the beautiful game that didn't turn out so spectacular.

But now that hopefully justice is brought to the right people these 96 families can take a breath of relief and be happy

Liverpool fans do me a favour and read this, it's wrote by a Admin on our largest FB Stoke City news site pretty much sums up alot of things and i'm sure people will feel the same from many clubs.

Why Liverpool Should Never Walk Alone - By Admin (C)
These are my thoughts and not the thoughts of the other Admins of TPB

We have a special hate for the Scousers.. which is odd Manchester is just up the road West Brom Wolves and Birmingham are all local teams ... its only right we berate them... I cant miss out the Vale... my Brother is a Vale fan... the three eyed git!!

But Liverpool... everyone hates Liverpool and when you think about it the tide of DEEP hate turned 23 years ago.

The Police, The Government, The FA, UEFA and FIFA all passed comment and told us the ANIMALS had killed their own and not only that they had stolen from the dead and urinated on the bodies and Police - It was all true the Sun even put it on their front page... The world HATED Liverpool FC

Over the next few years it came out that the police had lied.. but be Honest EVERY single one of us thought "No Smoke Without Fire"... and the Hate went on.

23 years the survivors were made to feel like scum - some of them committed suicide because they could not cope with the guilt of surviving - Those survivors were told they had killed the 96.

Yesterday and Today and over the next few day/weeks/months that guilt is going to be lifted - A massive injustice will be put right. Its come to light that we were all lied to - We have hated and despised for the wrong reasons.. We were deceived and helped prevent the families of the 96 to move on.

No one is asking fans from around the world to take any sort of blame.. Im in no way to blame... But ME, Admin (C) im offering an apology to Liverpool - I was given the wrong information and I used it to judge you unfairly - Im sorry

Now is the time for this to be put to rest - Its time for the world to know that the fans of Liverpool are not animals

Thanks for posting, Si. Very good read. I'll pass it on to a Liverpool forum I'm on so they can read it too.

Read a lot of different fan forums and all have been in the main very supportive and apologetic including RedCafe and The Blue Room of Man Utd and Everton.

Some Chelsea forum however still found it more humorous than sad. Ironic as I found them more sad than humorous.

God Bless the 96 and may they Rest in Peace

I noticed Suarez went diving again yesterday! Glad he's being himself out there no matter what everyone else says.

He will not be bullied into not cheating!!!

?? Did I watch highlights from another week's game? Could be possible, he does it every other game.

But you mean he didn't dive? When he got shown the yellow card, he didn't even protest. I don't think he got caught at all and he knew it (as did everyone else).

There was the most incredibly faint touch of boots ever, the fact he was going nowhere as well didn't really help his case he was always gonna go down dramatically. He actually does my head in cuz he's a good player, he doesn't need to dive.

He was already off balance a small touch was all that was needed. Not a pen but not a yellow either.

Hoping only respectable united fans wil turn up to Anfield next week because if there is any idiotic chanting from them I have a feeling it will turn nasty.

I went to Charlton vs Palace friday night and was nearly hit by a smoke grenade a Palace fan threw into the crowd of people leaving the stadium. Glad the police were on top of it as I don't think any serious riots broke out but it was pretty tense getting out of there and onto a train.

Less of the handbags ladies.

Suarez got caught (slightly may I add) in the box and had every right to go down, whether it was simulation or not.. then yeah it probably was as my 9 month old could probably stand up after that challenge. However if you get caught in the box you have every right to go down and O'Shea could have caused his team a lot of trouble.

To be fair though as always we were shocking in front of goal, was liking the fact for the first half at least suarez seemed to be on the wing and Borini up front we looked sharp the first 20-30 mins. Then Sunderland scored a goal which was very poorly defended first by Johnson the Squirtle (Cue mooney defending his lover).

Second half we looked to be on top again but made nothing of it, Sunderland played well and I will be amazed if come January they haven't had a big bid for mcclean << not sure if it is spelt right but he is a brilliant player.

A draw is what was deserved from both teams really so fair result.

Regarding United fans singing "Always the victim, it's never your fault". Seriously who gives a crap what the minority of utter idiots have to say? The whole country come together on Wednesday then Saturday all through to tomorrow where Everton are said to play YNWA before their match. Let's not let the minority fans of one club who the majority of have supported us of late completely wreck our fight for justice.

First the truth, next justice.

Really? Thought we were poor yesterday, big fan of Martin O'Neill but the fact we play backs to the wall football when the game is there for the taking is annoying. When we got forward yesterday, the build up play was fantastic, albeit without many shots to speak of.

Also about McClean, did you think he played well yesterday? Was a very sub-par performance from him in my opinion and other Sunderland supporters I've spoken to, hopefully just one of those games, seemed unfit.
