Hi. I have a new PC now (lucky me) about a week ago, but cant seem to get to play now.
I have windows 7 running IE11, with Java Version8 (update 45).

I have gone into internet settings, security and disabled "Allow active X Filtering" and also gone in to java and made exceptions in security "http://www.funkysnooker.com" and also "http://www.funkysnooker.com/viewGameNormal.do?loggedIn=true" (the game window).

The game window opens but have black screen for at least a minute, and when I try and start game, again the table is there but my name or opponents doesn't appear for some time which means when it does the other player has gone. It seems its slow to load but when I check out if java is enabled it says yes, so cant work it out........help.

Need to downgrade Java mate, check here...

I have uninstalled Latest Java and now have Java 7, but this time says No java installed !
Have checked using the help section which confirms its not installed, but it is. Checked within java itself (control panel) and I do have it ticked where it says in the advanced section (default java for browsers), have made sure in IE settings "allow active x filtering" is disabled.
Do not know what else I can do, any help anyone?

Java still has exceptions for site as well

In the help section : How to enable Java, the window says "great you can play", but when I open a game window, it says I have no java, and wants me to get a later copy now.

Have also followed the scripting suggestion within IE settings, but nothing.

Great, this means the game should run correctly on your computer.

I have followed in both of those sections all of the checks laid out, but still nothing even after changing to an older version of java as well.

Last chance salon......If I cant get this going im off guys , but if you can I will pay for subscription

What version would you suggest now as cant see update 30 on there?

The link you gave me is the version I have,(7v79) but my link takes me to older version, but now it says I have to create an account to download!!
Was going to download (7v25) but wont create account just to get this download !

Try Java 8 Update 31 mate, i'm on that and works fine

Ok reluctantly signed up with Java given false details to enable download of this version

Will uninstall my other version, reboot and install new, reboot and see.

Still nothing......just get the small explorer window appear within the game window still , and this is with Java 7v25 now.

Going out for a couple of hours now...give people time to sus this out, and give me any ideas so I can try when I get back.

Also are you on Google Chrome? if you are need to download another browser
