You aren't even comparing like with like though. If snooker on BBC was played on a table the size of the arcade table then every single professional player would split from the break.

I believe it would make the game more watchable. Even the promoters of world snooker are trying to win back fans with the new power snooker. The rule from the break is that so many balls must hit the cushion, meaning that a harder shot must be played to open up the game.

The arcade game is on a pool sized table, where it is pretty much too small to play a safety from the break, unless you are pin point accurate.

And tapping up to the reds off the break is the most annoying thing. If my opponent does it I just smack the pack in the place where I know a ball will pot from.

Pointless idea.

I don't see your complaint. You say it is not like snooker to smash the balls up on break yet you refuse to play a game which is more like snooker.

arcade is snooker-its funkysnooker,i think youve got a yearning feeling for pool to be honest. People should learn to play snooker properly on any table-its a good game when played correctly.
