Everytime i get Hutch in carom tournament i get a pop up asking if i want to run Application for Java update? The screen freezes and i have to reboot to clear it. Seems to only happen when i play Hutch for some reason? Its happened 3 times in a row now. Apart from that seems to be working fine.
Using Internet explorer and Java 8 / 51.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Funny you say that... I thought it was solved for me (see other thread), but I got frozen out of a tourny final against Hutch yesterday. Same old problem.

seems Hutch is the reason, boot him

Rank i would try rolling back java mate + try different browsers

was on 8 ver 35 gone right bk to 7 update 79......stable again

Just for everyone to understand:-

We know there is a problem with java and premium at the moment where normal members who get a premium member in a tournament end up with the game freezing and then being booted out. We are currently testing to try and sort this out and will get back to you as soon as possible.

It is not any of the premium members fault and we appreciate your patience whilst we sort it out.

cheers lads, i swapped for latest Java and its working fine so far. I got same pop up against Hutch again today but i could just delete it and carry on without it freezing and havent had it since

Sometimes it doesnt freeze and you can delete it. And then, after a few times it freezes again. It doesnt have to do with our java i think, but its a site issue with java and premium accounts as fastboysam has stated.

Just got Hutch in carom tournament and got another similar Pop up that didnt mention Java but froze the screen and i had to reboot again to clear it, its a joke.
When are these problems getting fixed?

When Hutch reaches 10.000 tournament wins, having played only 10 matches.

Go to control panel, and open up java:
Go to security, and then add the site names, if you just type them, it doesn't work, best off copying and pasting them.

Haven't tried this yet, but fiddled around with it, and no-one seems to have said it, so just putting it out there.

its nout to do with me I use an old java version I have been frozen out of games some have been finales and ive lost cos of it . but thank you all for starting a forum page about me lol. gl all you lot with getting it sorted

On the face of it, it does look like Rob (hutch1971). But believe me, he's not the cause of this, he's just playing his snooker like he has been for years. Only this morning, I had the security message pop up from another player on here, but I'm not mentioning the user, but happy to share that with Admin if they request it.

The bottom line is that this site has gone unsupported by the owner for way too long and when support and updates are not provided, or clear guidance from the site on how to overcome issues/clashes with browsers, java versions etc, then gradually, it'll fall apart... and that's what were seeing here.

It's not any members fault this, this has been in the making like a good movie for about a year.... perhaps it's too late to resolve, perhaps java is old hat and not suitable for this.... perhaps the end is coming, who knows.

Rob (hutch1971).... keep your chin up mate, it's not you clearly, but it seems your having the finger pointed, which is a shame, but those that know, know!

What absolute trollop this is!!!! This has nothing to do with premium..... I've purchased premium and still getting security messages against another premium and as such have to re-boot. What a load of rubish this is!!!!

I want a refund, as my purchase to premiun clearly did not sort this! This IS A JAVA issue!!!!!!!

Only nick can refund (i think), but on pool non premium members get kicked as well, Admin won't refund but with all the issues with java its fairly pointless buying Premium.

At very least each Premium member should have time added from the moment the problem started but since only 1 year is available, Admin can't do that either unfortunately.
