That was my whole point mate. I was talking about virtuoso's. But like you said, no need to go back to turf that has already been tread on.

At the end of the day no matter what happens, if its a tournament break and he leaves, it happens. If its a newbie that keeps resetting his account, it happens etc. So no matter how many games we play, or how many players we play. The outcomes always going to be the same!

Ask any member on this site if they have had a easy and simple time on Funkysnooker ... and i can guarantee the answer will be "NO". Good luck every member with the simple fact of enjoying yourself. Your going to need it.

I thought I would mention this as it has happened to me a couple of times now, no more annoying than yesterday.
I was in a tournament match and had won the frame, was on for my first century with most of the colours pottable apart from one and i think one red left.
Then my opponent leaves the room and my break is ended as i have progressed through to the next round because they left the room. I dont think this is fair and needs looking at.

Why the negative thread? At the end of the day this is your post that started this thread off. I just portrayed my opinion, as you did yours.

By the way, i cant be that negative with two winks involved can i?

It was not a negative thread, it was a game query, hence the game queries title. What you said about how EVERYONE will struggle to enjoy themselves, was negative.

Right, deadend i aint arguing with you. The bold writing states that from what i've heard off other members, one thing or another has gone wrong or/and has annoyed them in the past. And its my opinion if i want to say "good luck every member with the simple fact of enjoying yourself" because in my opinion they will need it.

i agree with the fact that when opponent leaves, then you can either choose to get DQ or miss your break but the fact is it wont get changed which is a real shame.

and yes ryan i have had problems in the past as ive moaned about, for example new layout, angle change, new spin all been problems for me but with a little bit of practice it can be dealt with.

so i agree with both your points but you have to live with it and move on, its only 1 game and you could easily win more tournaments.

Not being funny. But if you want to go for a cent or a half then dont join a tournament. If other members are not sporting and willing to stay until you have completed your break, then go play someone you can trust to stay and have a fun few games with you. Thats my tip anyway.

Thats my view on the matter James. No arguments here mate, just opinions. So no need to act superior is there?

how about when your opponent leave, there will be a option pop up, if you want to carry on you click yes, if you want the game to end right away so you don't get DQ

Not a bad idea. But i dont think it would be an easy job trying to implement it. You'll have to see what the admins say about it.

Sick of it now, had 3 chances for a century in 2 days in a tournament. They left while i was in the 60s-70s and ended straight away. Worse still, had about 10-15 minutes left to finish my break, so no problems with time. Agreed with Si, this needs sorting.

When threads like these pop up all of the time, one must ask himself a simple question. Why?

i think you should be able to carryon with your break, if you get DQ so be it. If you want to stay on in the tournament you can miss when the 1 minute warning comes up.

shame it has to end when they leave the room, i missed a century chance in original tournament due to this tradgedy
